Tourist visas for Canada are issued in two forms: Single-entry and Multiple-entry visas. Additionally, Canada offers a Super Visa, which is a type of Multiple-entry visa allowing parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to travel to Canada.
Single-entry Visa:
A Single-entry visa allows you to enter Canada only once for a period of up to 6 months. This type of visa is typically issued for official visits by government officials, attendance at conferences, or specific events in Canada. If you exit Canada, you will need to apply for a new visa for re-entry.
Multiple-entry Visa:
A Multiple-entry visa for Canada may be valid for 5 years, 10 years, or until one month before the expiration of your passport. This type of visa allows you to enter Canada multiple times during its validity period (usually 5 years for Iranians), with each entry allowing a stay of up to 6 months.
Super Visa:
The Super Visa for Canada is a type of Multiple-entry visa valid for up to 10 years. It allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to stay in Canada for up to 5 years on each entry, without the need for status renewal. This visa enables them to live alongside their children and grandchildren.
